• Foster existing, and establish new, relationships with clinical lab Administration and executive leadership in the respective territories.
• Maintains full ownership of the entire sales process, including conducting lab diagnostics, and developing business cases to assist in capital committee reviews and the budgeting process.
• Collaborate with a team of project managers and service engineers to manage customer logistics (e.g., IT, power, and architecture), drive change management of lab processes, implementation of instrument, and training.
• Develops and implements a regional and strategic territory and account sales plan involving multiple stakeholders and buyers in the hospital adoption of designated products and platforms.
• Lead LAT in the identification and development of prospective customers, create demand, communicate medical, clinical and patient outcome benefits, deliver product information and demonstrations, prepare proposals and quotes within company guidelines.
• Effectively demonstrate the soft and hard costs associated with the product portfolio by persuading multiple decision makers and influencers to orchestrate a successful product conversion within the institution.

• Provide continuous support including post sales activities. Coordinate a successful installation transitioning to the long term customer satisfaction of the product.
• Manage administrative duties as assigned: monitoring expenses to budget, timely administrative and call reporting, funnel and competitive data entries in Sales Force, new contracts and renewals, use and maintenance of Company assets and adhering to OHSA and Universal Lab precautions.
• Live the BD Values, including but not limited to, the BD Code of Conduct and AdvaMed rules.

Experience: BA / BS in Life Sciences, biological areas, business or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years documented sales success (top 20%) in large dollar capital equipment sales into the clinical lab (e.g., hematology, immunology)
• A combination of clinical market sales, financial or technical selling experience required.
• Must have ability to demonstrate existing, and/or ability to establish, relationships with clinical lab Administration / CXOs in the respective territories.
• Must have ability to demonstrate experience attaining or exceeding overall sales plan profit and Individual Impact Goals.
